Wealth Management Fee Structure

Our Fee Structure

At Attune Financial Planning, our goal is to provide comprehensive, ongoing financial planning and investment management that is fully aligned with your best interests.  We are a Fee-Only fiduciary firm, which means:

  • We are paid solely by our clients — never by commissions, referral fees, or third-party incentives.
  • Every recommendation we make is designed to serve your goals, not ours.
  • Our work includes both the big-picture planning (retirement, taxes, estate, insurance, cash flow) and the day-to-day management of your investments.

Minimum annual Fee

Our minimum annual fee is $7,500.

  • This covers both your financial planning and investment management services.
  • For households with less than $750,000 in managed assets, the difference is billed directly from a personal account.
  • This ensures that every client receives the same high level of care and attention, regardless of portfolio size.

Assets Under Management (AUM) Fee Schedule

Our ongoing fees are based on the investments we manage for you, according to the following tiered schedule:

Assets Under Management (AUM)Annual Fee
First $1,000,000
    1.00%
Next $500,000
  .80%
Next $500,000
  .65%
Next $2,000,000
    .50%
Amounts Above $4,000,000
    .25%

How fees work:

  • Fees are billed quarterly, based on the account values held at our custodian, Charles Schwab, as of the last day of the previous quarter.
  • Our schedule is blended — meaning each tier applies only to the assets within that range.
  • For example: a household with $2 million under management pays approximately 0.78% overall.

Why This Structure?

  • It keeps our incentives aligned with yours:  as your assets grow, our compensation grows — and if markets decline, so does our fee.
  • It ensures that comprehensive financial planning is included at every stage of life, not billed separately or “a la carte.”
  • It reflects our belief that long-term success is best achieved when your planning and investments work together under one strategy.
